Forget about being “photogenic” – that’s just a myth! My job is to make you feel totally at home in front of the camera and capture your amazing Lioness self in the best possible light. My gift of intuition and for making people feel relaxed, in fact much of my feedback is about this exact skill I have mastered. I will show you shots on the back of the camera as we go and I will direct you every step of the way. As you listen and follow instructions your nerves will dissipate. is the most common comment I receive in my client testimonials. When you’re relaxed and feeling yourself, that’s when the real magic happens. Yeah, I get it, facing the camera can be kinda scary, but it’s also a super cool chance to push your limits and feel empowered. So, how about you take on the challenge, kick back, and let me show you just how gorgeous you really are? And hey, I’ve got your back every step of the way, so no worries – we’ll rock this shoot together!

I’ve been immersed in the world of photography since the turn of the millennium, back in the days when film was still king! Since 2011, I have specialised full-time in boudoir sessions and portraits . Annually, I photograph approximately 150 clients, including both women and men. My professional journey started shortly after graduating from the National Art School, during which I had the opportunity to work as an assistant to Richard Arthur, a renowned photographer for Penthouse magazine. By 2015, I became the official photographer for Sydney Pole’s showcases. Today, my operation has grown to include a dedicated team of photo editors, an office assistant, and several talented makeup artists. With Lioness, you can be assured of a professional and reassuring experience. Without a doubt, this is the career I’ve always dreamed of.
You are welcome to suggest a specific location for your session. Although most of our photography takes place at our St Peters studio, Lioness Photography is flexible and has experience conducting sessions at various sites including boutique hotels in inner Sydney, private residences, and Airbnbs. If you choose a particular location, please note that you will be responsible for securing and covering the costs of the space. Additionally, I would need to see photos of the location beforehand to ensure that it meets our requirements for creating the perfect shoot.
My studio is located upstairs in The Aerie at Tortuga Studios, 31 Princes Highway, St Peters NSW 2044.. YOu will receive the address with your photography session confirmation. There is plenty of street parking out the front and in May Street nearby or across the road in Sydney Park carpark.
Your boudoir session is totally private—it’s just you and your photographer, no one else. If you choose to go for our hair and makeup package, your artist will join in for a bit to ensure you’re camera-ready and looking fabulous!
The duration of our boudoir sessions typically ranges from 1 to 3 hours, depending on the type of session you select. For fitness shoots, we might split the time between two locations—a studio and a park. Couples sessions often involve a combination of outdoor shots, like walking together in the street or park, followed by intimate studio shots. Pole dancing shoots and studio boudoir sessions can last 2 to 3 hours if hair and makeup are included at the studio. For those interested in a shorter session, our pole dancing mini sessions run for 30 minutes.
This is why you are hiring me. Remember, I am an expert at what I do and I will instruct you the entire way, giving you specific directions on what to do with your legs, feet, eyes and hands and booty!
Absolutely, you can definitely book a shoot as a beginner in pole dancing! There are so many basic moves that look amazing in photos, and the pole itself is fantastic for posing—whether you’re strutting around it, leaning against it, or laying beside it. I’ll be there to guide you and help you think of moves that are foundational to pole dancing. As someone who has started from the beginning twice myself after two c-sections, I’m well versed in beginner moves!
We highly recommend letting our makeup artist take care of your look for the session. However, we understand that some clients have specific preferences when it comes to their makeup. In such cases, we advise opting for photo-ready makeup. The camera tends to tone down makeup by about 50%, so heavier application of foundation, bronzer, blush, highlighter, false lashes, and brow definition is suggested for optimal results. For a more natural look, choose a lip pigment close to your natural lip color.
If you still prefer to do your own makeup, keep in mind that you’ll need products specifically designed for photography, such as heavy-duty foundation, lashes, bronzer, and brow products. Our makeup artist can guide you through the process and offer input along the way. Feel free to bring along any specific products you’d like to use.
When planning your session, I make sure to have a conversation with all my clients about their comfort level regarding the amount of skin they’re comfortable showing in their portraits. There are various options, and each client gets to choose where they feel most comfortable with.
On one end, some clients prefer to wear “everyday” clothing like jeans and a t-shirt or a cocktail dress. Many clients fall somewhere in the middle, opting for lingerie or bra/underwear sets.
For those who are comfortable, most clients like to include an “implied nude/topless” look, where they’re not wearing much but are covered with a sheet or their arms. For example, holding a blanket up in front of themselves with an open back.
Other clients are comfortable with a “fine art nude” look, which is a classic style of boudoir photography speaking with light and the human body, using shadows and shapes for an abstract effect. This is an area I excel in, with my background in fine art photography.
Absolutely not! This is your choice. I can only do this with explicit permission which comes in the form of a model release signed by you at the commencement of the shoot or via a contract. The decision to share your images on Instagram, our website, or elsewhere is entirely up to you. I only use your photos with your explicit permission, which you can give by signing a model release at the beginning of the shoot or through a contract. I also enjoy entering my portraits in competitions, and for that, I would need your permission as well.Any photos you see of past clients on my website, social media or displayed as examples in the studio are there because those individuals have agreed to share them.
If privacy is a concern but you’re still open to sharing, some clients prefer to have their images cropped to exclude their faces, which can be a comfortable compromise. Your comfort and privacy are my top priorities.
Our retouching policy ensures that all images selected for printing receive full professional retouching. This includes smoothing skin on faces and bodies, whitening teeth, brightening eyes, removing blemishes, and digital slimming to ensure each print meets high-quality standards. For images that are not printed, we perform color correction and a lighter, softer retouch.
Please note, more extensive retouching services, such as tattoo removal or braces removal, are available but do incur additional costs. We aim to enhance your natural beauty while maintaining the essence of your true self in all our photographs. I’m happy to remove temporary blemishes and bruises to make sure you look your best. However, when it comes to permanent marks like scars, I typically leave them as they are part of your unique story, unless you specifically request their removal. Just let me know how you’d like to proceed!
Definitely! While you might not see many on my website, I absolutely photograph couples. Most of the couples I’ve worked with choose to keep their photos private, which is why you don’t see them online. If you’re interested in a couples session, please reach out! Additionally, we offer a couples ‘mini shoot’ as an add-on to our standard boudoir sessions. This option allows your significant other to join you for the last 15-30 minutes of session for some photos together. Then you can go out (or head home!) as you will be in full make up and feeling totally empowered and sexy after this luxurious experience.
While we love the idea of sharing this experience with loved ones, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing friends or partners to your session unless it’s a couple’s shoot. Having additional people around can distract from our focus on capturing stunning images of you. However, if you’re booking a pole shoot, feel free to bring friends along to assist with spotting you on the pole.
Yes, I do Sunday sessions and also Tuesday and Wednesday.
Yes, you can absolutely opt for digital copies of your photos. You can check out my digital collection . It’s important to note that while digital images are great for sharing and convenience, printing your photographs is the best way to preserve them. I personally believe that holding a printed photo enhances your connection to those memories. If you’re interested in both digital and printed options, albums or frames. I’m here to help you with that. Click to see our products.
Your photo shoot is $350 to book in. My collections of photographs start at $600 and go up from there. Most of my clients spend on average $1200 to $3000 depending on what they order. Interest free payment plans are available to suit your budget. Click to view my pricing and products.
We can do this the SAME DAY – after taking a short break where you can have a snack and I will prepare your photos. I will show around 60-80 photos on my professional monitor. Otherwise, I invite you back in after a few days to go through them images together to choose your collection.
You have the option to purchase either a fine art album, a framed print or portrait box of matted prints in my collections. All collections include matching digital files. Click here to view my collections in more detail.
